Big Day in Ruiru as Vice Captain Tourney Kicks off

Golf action shifts to the par 72 Ruiru Sports Club on Saturday as over 200 golfers tee off for the friends of the vice-captain (Peter Mwaura) golf day.
The course is in fabulous condition and the players will compete in what could be one of the most exciting editions of the event, said Club Captain Antony Kamau.
”This marks the first of a series of big golf events lined up at the Club this year” he said.
The Club Chairman Fr Mwaura who won the clergy and friends golf on Monday this week will face off stiff competition from Lawrence Gachara who won the Mini Masters last weekend.
Other golfers expected to offer stiff competition to the golfers includes recent winners S.M Kihiro, Prof Machocho and C. Kiiyukia.
The amateurs will face stiff competition from a strong field and equally challenging golf course to win at Ruiru.
