The first round of 2018 KNRC saw stiff competition between Onkar Rai, Ian Duncan , Baldev Chager and Manvir Baryan as the battle for championship began.
Onkar Rai emerged victorious during the Nakuru outing ahead of Baldev Chager while six times Champion Ian Duncan finished 3rd. Manvir Baryan was fourth navigated by Drew Sturrock in a Skoda Fabia while Carl Tundo managed a 5th position clocking 01:35:27:6 Onkar clocked 1:28:04.3 while Baldev Chager clocked 1:28:20.7 during the glorious outing.
The rally was flagged off at Nakuru Athletic Club by Nakuru Governor H.E Lee Kinyanjui flanked by KCB Head of Customer Experience Mr Job Njiru.

Karan Patel was first off the ramp followed by Ian Duncan and Jaspreet Chatthe who went off third. The drivers covered 367km with a competitive distance of 150km
