KCB RFC is through to the Enterprise Cup semifinals after blasting Mwamba 53-7 during the knockout clash played at KCB Sports club on Saturday 21st April 2018.
Head Coach Curtis Olago was delighted with today’s victory lauding the players for a job well done.
“We played a very tight game today leaving nothing to chance, we executed our game plan very well to earn this victory”, said Olago.
The Bankers went ahead through Felix Ojow try that was converted by Marlin Mukolwe to see KCB leading 7-0. Francis Mwita was also on the scoreline in a match that saw KCB ran in seven tries, six conversions, and two penalties.
Ojow’s brace fires KCB to 53-7 victory over Mwamba. KCB lead 17-0 at halftime before Michael Kimwele added KCB another try as Ahmed Shabaan converted to see KCB extend the lead by 24-0. Shaban converted again shortly after Rocky Aguko went over as the bankers extended their lead to 31-0.
The tight match saw Oliver Mang’eni bulldoze over for a center post try that was converted by Esau Otieno as KCB led by 41-0. George Asin went over to see KCB leading 46-7 before Ojow added a second try. Esau converted for KCB to leave the scores at 53-7.
KCB will face either Nondies or Homeboyz in Enterprise Cup semis next weekend.
