Over KES 50 Million to be awarded in Bamburi’s campaign targeting retailers


18th July 2018… Bamburi Cement’s retailers and dealers from across the country stand to win prizes valued over Kes.50 million as part of the fourth and fifth phase of the company’s “Zawadi Challenge’ campaign, a loyalty reward program for reward them.

This Campaign by Bamburi Cement was launched two years ago to reward retailers and dealers who actively purchase cement from the Company. They earn points based on the volume of cement purchased from the Company.

“Retailers and Dealers can participate by way of actively and consistently purchasing Bamburi Cement over a period of six months. Since inception of this program in 2016, we have seen the number of participants grow from about 250 retailers to over 560,” said Bamburi Cement’s Managing Director Mr. Seddiq Hassani.

The drive christened ‘Zawadi Challenge’ will see Bamburi Cement reward the best-performing retailers and dealers with gifts ranging from International and local luxury holidays of their choice, shop makeovers, school fees and tuk tuks with carriers. More prizes include shopping vouchers valued at Kes.10,000/- and 20,000/-, generators, smartphones, laptops, microwaves, solar water systems, water pumps, mountain bikes and motorbikes and household appliances including microwaves, fridges, cookers and washing machines among others.

“Our objective is to embed a culture of continual improvement among our retailers and dealers.  By providing quality and innovative products and solutions to our customers, we view this as a strong partnership for the future” added Hassani.

Winners will be presented with their awards at various ceremonies to be held in different towns across the country. They include Nairobi, Meru, Nyeri, Mombasa, Kakamega, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, Kitale, Bomet, Bungoma, Kisii and Voi among others.
