Matiang’i suspends leave for the country’s security personnel

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has suspended leave for the country’s security personnel until the national examinations are concluded.

Speaking at the Kenya School of Government, Kabete, Dr. Matiang’i said he would also be on duty for the entire period of the examinations, adding that his diary had been cleared from October 29 to November 29.

The CS further stated that he has held separate meetings with the DPP, DCI as well as the Inspector General of Police and that their main aim is to rid the country of the menace of examination cheating.

CS Matiang’i also stated that his ministry had effectively deployed enough security personnel throughout the country.
