Kass Marathon considered as one of the world’s toughest races

Kass Marathon is considered as one of the world’s toughest races, being ran in a high altitude region.

This year’s Kass Marathon is bigger and better. It is the 11th edition since inception its in 2007.

The flagging point, as always is Kapsabet, Nandi County and finishes in Eldoret Sports Club, Uasin Gishu County for the full Marathon.

The 10KM (for men and women) starts at Eldoret International Airport and finishes at Eldoret Sports Club. The Family fun and corporate race for Children, corporates, groups and companies start at Barng’etuny Plaza and also finish at Sports Club.

Those eligible to participate for the 42KM, should be over 18 years, For 10KM and 5km is open.

The Prize money for 42KM is 1.5M (Both men and women) Registration is Ksh. 500 for 42 and 10km and Ksh. 1000 for the fun race. 

Kass Marathon is being ran in a region which is a powerhouse of Marathon running and its main objective is to give a platform to Athletes to explore, build and showcase their talents.
