COTU demands crackdown on maize looters

The Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU-K) is making moves to curb maize looting, a criminal activity that has affected various parts of the country.

COTU-K Secretary General Francis Atwoli has asked investigative agencies to treat NCPB maize looters as economic saboteurs.

He said the union is confident that the President’s efforts to end graft were yielding positive results.

Atwoli said lawmakers have not put in enough effort in the fight against corruption.
