Samsung Galaxy S10 pre-orders go live in Kenya

…a 1000 pre- orders are expected from both corporate and individual customers


Nairobi, Kenya, February 21, , 2019… The recently released Samsung Galaxy 10 will be open for pre-orders for Kenyan customers from 21st of this month bundled with Galaxy buds valued at Ksh 19,999.

Charles Kimari, Head of Mobile division at Samsung Electronics East Africa said, this time round the pre-order window was opened early enough to ensure that we onboard all the pre-orders from Kenya.

“The Galaxy S10 line is engineered to meet the distinct needs of today’s smartphone market, the device delivers an all-round next generation experience with ground breaking innovations on the phones look and feel as well as the overall performance,” he explained.

The Galaxy S10 which is anchored on a decade-long S-series lineage is a super charged device that sets the stage for the next generation of mobile experiences. It features an all-new Dynamic AMOLED display, next-generation camera, and intelligent performance as well as a built-in defense-grade Samsung Knox, as well as a secure storage backed by hardware, which houses your private keys for blockchain-enabled mobile services.

The Galaxy S10 is built with premium hardware and machine-learning-based software that works hard. From brand new power sharing capabilities to AI-powered performance enhancement and Intelligent Wi-Fi, Galaxy S10 is Samsung’s most intelligent device yet, from the inside out. The device will also see the first ever, wireless powers sharing feature that makes the phone capable of charging itself and a second device or a wearable simultaneously via Wireless PowerShare, while connected to a regular charger, enabling you to leave your second charger at home while on a trip.

Pre-orders in Kenya for the device open on February 21, 2019 for the first 1000 customer bundled with Galaxy buds valued at Ksh 19,999. The phone will be available in Prism White, Prism Black, and Prism Green. Galaxy S10+ will also be available in two, all-new, premium Ceramic models: Ceramic Black and Ceramic White for the 512GB variant.
