FEP Holdings Limited has signed a management contract with international hospitality group Swiss International Hotels & Resorts to operate its property in Sagana, which will be named Swiss International Sagana Resort & Conference Centre.
The hotel is nearing its construction completion and is scheduled to open before the end of 2019.
Strategically located along the Nairobi-Nyeri Highway, in Sagana, the Resort is expected to boost both leisure and conference tourism in the Mt Kenya circuit.
FEP Holdings started construction of the property in 2014 and put out an international tender in December 2018 to get the right partner to run the four star resort.
“We are excited to have found the right partner in Swiss International which has a rich experience in the hospitality sector. We are now working together to ensure the Resort is completed in time to open before this Christmas,” said FEP Holdings Chairman, Mr James Kaguchia.
“I can assure our investors that the transformation journey the reconstituted board promised is still on going and this is one of the milestones. We remain committed to delivering on our turnaround strategy FEP Mpya and attracting an international partner like this is a sign some strides are being made.”
Swiss International Hotels & Resorts has a rich experience in the hospitality industry since 1980, operating in 15 countries across Africa, Europe, Middle East and South Asia.

The 146-room Swiss International Sagana Resort & Conference Centre will offer modern conferencing facilities with a capacity of 800 people, two board rooms and two meeting rooms with a combined capacity of 80 people. Situated approximately 100 kilometres from Nairobi it is expected to attract a wide range of visitors both for leisure and business.
