Former Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA) Managing Director David Kimosop has been arrested by DCI officers as he arrived from Congo.

Kimosop was taken into custody by DCI officers on Friday morning over his alleged links to the Kimwarer and Arror Dams’ scandal which has seen former Treasury CS Henry Rotich and Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge sacked.

He will be held at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations awaiting his arraignment in court.

The DCI on Monday recommended charges against top government officials after months of investigations into the construction of the Sh63 billion multi-purpose dams in Elgeyo Marakwet counties.
