KCB RFC storms driftwood 7s quarters eying the title glory

KCB Rugby FC dream of basking in national 7s glory is on course as the Driftwood 7s gets underway in Mombasa today.

The Bankers are through to the quarter-finals after three massive wins during the opening pool A matches played at Mombasa Sports Club.

KCB edged out Administration Police 36-0 before annihilating Kenya Harlequins 31-0 at Mombasa Sports Club on Saturday 7th September 2019.

The game with Harlequins saw Vincent Onyala and Geofrey Okwatch score braces with Andrew Amonde running in a try while Levi Amunga and Johnstone Olindi converted for the bankers.

Onyala shone with brilliance during the opening game running in a hatrick of tries with Levi Amunga, Jacob Ojee, Michael Wanjala, and Johstone Olindi running in a try each

In another match, KCB edged MMUST 22-12 running on 4tries and conversions. The Denis Mwanja squad will be hoping to reciprocate the 2014 glory when they lifted the 7s trophy.
