Baringo County Commissioner Henry Wafula has ordered chiefs in the county to ensure that all pupils who did their class eight examinations last year report to form one or they will be fired.
Speaking at Kapsoo, Baringo Central, Wafula ordered chiefs to ensure every candidate who sat for last years’ Kenya Certificate of Primary Examination (KCPE) proceeds to form one. This is in line with the government’s directive of
100% transition regardless of marks scored.
Wafula also ordered that parents should also help the government by ensuring that their children report to form one adding that the county registered 98% transition rate last year which needs to be improved further.
Form ones are expected to report to schools next week.
