DCI detectives probe DP’s office

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives on Monday carried out investigations at the office of the Deputy President William Ruto at the Harambee Annex office as part of the probe into the fake Ksh.39 billion military arms deal.

The detectives questioned staff working at Mr. Rutto’s office including security guards in a case that has been termed as a political witch-hunt.

On Monday, former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa – who is at the center of the multi-million scandal told a Nairobi court that the case was political and denied all charges leveled against him.
