51 more people recover from COVID -19 as cases rise to 11252

COVID-19 cases in Kenya rose to 11,252 on Tuesday after 461 more people tested positive after 4261 samples were analyzed.

Speaking in Nairobi, Ministry of Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Dr. Rashid Aman said seven more patients have succumbed to the coronavirus disease, pushing the number of fatalities recorded in the country to 209.

Fifty-one more people have also recovered from the virus bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,068.

Of the 461 new cases, 432 are Kenyans and 29 foreigners and they are all aged between 1-86 years.
