About Kass TV

You can now get the opportunity to watch your favourite programs on the new Kass TV

The Kass Media Group has launched the first television of its kind in Kenya, a vernacular television station with hundred per cent local content.

KASS TV, born of Kass Fm radio broadcast in Kalenjin language in Kenya and Washington DC, USA.

The TV station gives a larger populace of Kalenjin community who are semi-literate a chance to watch and listen in a language they very well understand.

The signal is currently on test run will soon be officially launched and will be expected to reach viewers across the country and the Diaspora.

The main intension of the vernacular station is to promote culture that has been abandoned by many, especially the younger generations as they have grown up exposed to other cultures imported.

KASS TV will provide educational and documented cultural programs that will foster the almost forgotten language and culture of the Kalenjin community.

Apart from culture it will also focus on key issues in the country which include; tourism sites, agriculture, business, development, empowerment and other educative material.

The big state of the art and technologically oriented station has been received with much fascination by many and so far the response has been overwhelming from the viewers. Most of the listens of Kass Fm have now embraced the television where they can be able to watch their favourite presenters with whom they have been interacting on radio.

Kass TV is optimistic that by December it will be able to reach millions of audience without limitation of language especially the less educated who have been locked out by national television stations due to language barrier.
