Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has called on Kenyans to stop the controversies over boundaries that have greeted the public hearings on the boundaries conducted by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
"The issue of boundaries should not be a matter of controversies because it is a legal issue that can be handled through consensus," she said.
Ms Karua, who has pitched tent in Coast province since Monday said fighting over the issue of boundaries would not help and called for sobriety among Kenyans and leaders to enable the IEBC to conduct its mandate effectively.
On the date of the next General Elections, Ms Karua reiterated that it would be illegal for the elections to be held in March next year.
"It will be illegal and selfish for leaders to push the elections to March next year," she said at Mpeketoni and Hola towns in Lamu and Tana Counties respectively.
The Gichugu MP urged Kenyans in all the six counties of Coast province and the country as a whole to vote wisely during the forthcoming elections in order to get visionary leaders who will steer the country to greater heights of development.
