Ghana and Mali at the Top as CAF Group Stage Ends

Ghana and Mali are ranked at the top of the tables as the African Cup of Nations entered the end first round of the group stages. Ghana alongside fellow favorites Ivory Coast earned three points each as both registered wins. Ghana striker John Mensah secured the only goal for the Black starts against Botswana after she picked up a pass from Emmanuel Agyemang Badu. Botsawana coach Stanley Tshosane however said that he was impressed by the zebra’s performance. Mali on their part edged out Guinea 1-0. The lone goal was scored by Bakave Traore.
