President Uhuru Kenyatta enjoys the widest coverage in the country at 22% followed by Deputy President William Ruto at 8%, a new poll has shown.
The poll by Trends and Insights For Africa (TIFA) research firm also shows that ODM leader Raila Odinga enjoys wide media coverage, ranking third at 8%.
The report which was released Wednesday was conducted between October 2018 and June 2019 further reveals that Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi and his Sports counterpart Amina Mohammed also enjoy high media coverage at 5% and 3% respectively.
Crime also got the highest coverage with the DusitD2 terror attack being highlighted as well as the fake gold scam.
In politics, DP William Ruto has the highest coverage at 27.9 per cent followed by Kenyatta at 20.8 per cent.
Raila Odinga is third at 18 per cent.
The coverage around these personalities has been on 2022 politics and the deal between Kenyatta and Odinga popularly referred top as the handshake.
